This is my setting design, it was created on Adobe Illustrator. The idea behind my design was to use a park from where Muybridge was from in Kingston so i used Canbury Gardens which is located around the back of kingston. I went there myself and done a drawing which is in my sketchbook i also got some pictures online to use as research to make his design as accurate as possible.
This was the illustration for the scene with the camera shutter noise and flash. to help with the design of this camera i looked up some of the old fashioned cameras that were used in 1879 and combined that with some more modern designs as-well. the idea behind this scene was to really emphasis that this is a camera flash and Eadward Muybridge is taking a picture. To emphasis this as much as possible i made the camera look a bit more modern and obvious to audiences today.
These illustrations were used for the scene in which Eadward Muybridge has taken and the picture and is begging to look at it. I used illustrator to create the original picture then by using the bone tole i was able to animate Muybridge to look like he is press the camera in one scene and to make him life the picture up to get a closer look.
