Waltz with Bashir is about Ari Folman who is encountered with brief visions about the 1982 Lebanon War in which he served as an infantry soldier. Folman wonders why he is not able to recollect his experiences. The visuals throughout the animation are quick dark with a-lot of shadows and silhouettes.
After watching and analysing ‘Waltz with Bashir’ i have decided that i would like to use a similar art style for my animation. As my animation story is quite dark i think its fitting to have the animation itself use a dark colour scheme. the colours used are mainly blacks whites and oranges. however, i am going to use black white and red. Red symbolises danger and blood and i feel that fits really well for the war and scene i chose.
